Margarita? On the rocks?
With salt? Yes, yes and yes! When it comes to indulging in the sabor of this
wonderfully salty beverage, I’m most definitely a ‘yes’ girl.
I
can’t really recall how my love affair with the margarita began, perhaps on a
beach somewhere soaking up the rays of the beating hot sun or maybe during a
festive celebration of Mexican culture?...
More than likely, it began slung over the edge of a L.A. bar with a
basket of chips and salsa and the company of some really intoxicated…I mean…
really good friends.
Today
my relationship with the margarita has developed, matured. It’s not just about drinking it down to
unwind. It’s about savoring the taste of
tequila, enjoying the tang of the fresh lime and searching for the best of the
best that this magnificent thirst quenching drink has to offer…and above all,
partaking in it with the company of my really good friends.
